LOOK: The National Confederation of Transportworkers Union (NCTU) is urging the government to extend the implementation of the service-contracting program under the “Bayanihan to Recover as One Act” or the Bayanihan 2. NCTU secretary general Jaime Aguilar said that this is to give other jeepney drivers an opportunity to enroll in the program. He said that out of the P3 billion budget for the service-contracting program for jeepneys, the government has only spent P1.2 billion.
